I spent part of the weekend by the ocean with friends.  What could be better than that, right?  Here are a few fun shots from our trip.  I'm loving the contrast between the overcast skies and the bright, pops of color in this jacket + accessories.  What do you think?

Holiday Heart

I simply love this time of year.  The holiday events and parties seem never ending.  I love any excuse to dress up and celebrate with Friends + Family.  But like every year, the Holidays come and go in the blink of an eye.  Thus, I find myself suffering from a major case of Holiday Heart.  Here are a few pictures of my looks from this Holiday Season.  Cheers!

Aztec Azure

With just a few (crazy) shopping days left before Christmas, I find myself running here + there to get some last minute items.  While out and about, I tend to skip the heavy wool jacket.  Instead, I prefer layering with a blazer or a comfy, oversized sweater: like this blue, aztec inspired number.   This look allows me to stay warm while running from my car into the store, and staying comfortable while battling the crowds.  What's your go-to, last-minute shopping look?  Merry Christmas!

Blues in Booties

Although this can be a busy time of year, I just love the Holiday Season.  I spent the cold, snowy afternoon catching up with a good friend.  Today was the perfect opportunity to wear my new booties (that I had been dying to wear!)  I love the blue zipper detail in the back + worn suede on the toes.  What do you think?

Wild West

I took a (much needed) weekend getaway out west to visit my longtime best friend, her husband and new baby girl. (She is so stinkin' cute!)  I loved spending time with the new family, reminiscing and admiring the great parents they are to the adorable babe.

If you have never been to Colorado, you must go.  The Rockies are spectacular + ever-present.  We visited Horsetooth Mountain and Reservoir, and took the babe for a walk at a near by nature reserve.   My trip was short but sweet, and I enjoyed every minute...

Dot Dot Dot

Last night, I celebrated with my best friend on her recent engagement.  I'm so happy for her + her husband-to-be.  Plus, I was very excited to wear my new polka-dot skirt (although I think I picked the coldest day of the week).   Happy Friday!

Viridian Vibes

The weather has been cold + drab the past few days... this blue-green, viridian-colored jacket fits my mood perfectly.  At least it is almost Friday...

Leather Laden

I hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving Holiday - I sure did.  The Black Friday shopping tradition lived on.  My mother, sister, friend Beth + I shopped from 4:30am to 1:30pm.  Needless to say, it was a long morning/afternoon, but it was a blast.  I think I am still recovering.  Here is a peek at one of my weekend looks.  Remember this leather sleeved jacket (first seen here)??

Black and Beige

A guy friend/co-worker complimented (I think, complimented) my outfit today, and said this dress was very "retro, yet fashion-forward" - an interesting combination and not even close to the look I thought I was going for.  I guess I can see what he means: the dress does give off a Marsha Brady, circa 1970's vibe.  Anyways, it was a funny moment.  I love hearing what guys have to say about style + fashion: its never what I expect.  What do you think of this look?
