My sister got engaged a few weekends ago (yay! Congratulations).  We spent the weekend away celebrating, taking in the beautiful views of the lake.  These black leggings were my go-to (and still are).  They're thick, comfy + totally worth the price!  They have been perfect for the past few days leading up to Christmas.  With all the running around + last minute shopping/errands, it is so important to stay comfortable.  Merry Christmas!  ( Holiday looks to come...)

Home Sweet Home

Last weekend, I visited the place where I spent my summers growing up.    This tiny little boat house, which sits on Lake Winnipesaukee in Paugus Bay, was built by my Grandfather.  Although the house is no longer in the family, not much has changed.  I took a nostalgic walk along the train tracks: the place where my sister, cousin + I would spend all of our time when we weren't jumping off the dock into the lake. Almost everyday we would wait for the train to come by so we could watch our pennies laid the track become hot pieces of copper.  Nothing beats a summer by the lake...

Thanksgiving in Black + White

I wanted to share my black + white Thanksgiving look.  This year, I'm thankful for all the great people in my life [especially my - always willing - photographer]...  Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving.

November Necessities

I am currently craving these six necessities for the chilly November we're having.  These BP leggings are at the top of my list.  My bestie has been recommending them highly for months now.  Plus, because of their thick texture + wide waistband, they're sure to keep me warm + comfy all winter long.

I certainly can't resist spots, polka-dots, bows + sequins all in one look.  A somewhat adventuresome combination for me... and I'm ready to try more.  Have a great weekend! 

Chaps + Chambray

Typically, for a "work ready" look, you'll find me in some form of black and/or white (just ask my co-workers).  But... no black. no white. no pops of pink here.  Believe it or not, I did survive in these navy + green graphic chaps.  The dark colors paired with a neutral chambray work well this time of year (kind of put you in a holiday spirit).  I did, of course, have to add a bright 'pop' with this fabulous new coat from the Factory (currently onsale!).  I can't wait to wear it all winter long.  Happy Hump Day.

I hit up the J.Crew Factory sale this past weekend, splurging a bit, yet convincing myself I needed it all.  I had been eyeing this waffle color-block sweater for some time, and decided there was no time better than a 40% off sale.  I also love that I can incorporate many colors into this look, while still representing my love for all things b+w.

Fall First

So, this blouse.  A fall first + perfect for date night or dinner with the girls.  Believe it or not, I bought this Vince blouse over the summer  [on the clearance rack]  at TJMaxx and I've been anxiously waiting for its debut.  The burnt color is very fitting for fall, if you ask me.  Pair it with a pair of (faux) leather leggings, my favorite wedges, some rose gold accessories, and voila, the perfect early fall look.  Any suggestions how I should style this blouse with jeans?  Skinny or boyfriend?  With a pair of pointy toe pumps.. thoughts?  Thanks for stopping by.
