DIY - Fab Frames

If you love to shop as much as I do, you must also find yourself with tons of shopping bags.  Instead of throwing all the bags into the trash, I decided to try a little DIY project.   I purchased some inexpensive frames (5 frames for $25).  Then, I chose the bags (for this project I went with shopping bags with a neutral/greyscale color palette).   I simply cut the bags to fit within the frames (I even liked to include some of the handles, too).  Then hang + enjoy!

Rosetted Red

Today's post is a short one.  But, I have to say, I love the way this bright, red blazer pops against the rosetted black + white spotted blouse in this wooded setting.  What do you think of this look?

Neon on Neon

With all these cold temperatures we've been having, I'm really starting to itch for some nice Spring weather.   So, I paired a simple black sweater + boyfriend jeans with some fun, neon accessories - nothing like brightening up the day.  Hope this helps to brighten your day, too.

Park Play

I've been loving my new, over-sized pocket sweater from J.Crew.  It is super comfy + just the right amount of "over sized", if you know what I mean.   Plus, it pairs nicely with my rock n'roll inspired skull necklace, don't you think?  We're still recovering from Super-Storm Nemo... trying to find parking in the city is crazy!  Have a great week.

Pink Peplum and Polka-dots

We're expecting a huge storm today + into tomorrow.  So with work canceled, I took the opportunity to blog about some of my recent looks (while spending the day hanging out with (babysitting) my little cousins).  Here is what I wore yesterday to work and then out to dinner.  Yes, I finally snagged this Kate Spade purse I had been eyeing for months (it was a major steal at over half off).  Its never to early for a bright pop of color.  Stay warm and stay tuned for more posts this week.
