This was by far my favorite dress of the Holiday season.  (This post is better late than never).

I love sweater weather.  I thrown on an over sized scarf + sweater, stylish flats and some skinnies and I'm ready for the day.  If you opt for muted tones (often like me), sling a bright bag over your shoulder for a pop of color. 

Just Fur Fun

Sometimes you just need to throw a fur on it, just for fun.  If you ask anyone who knows me, you'll know how much I love my [faux] fur.  Whether its a throw on the bed, a collar for a sweater, or in this case a vest thrown over a basic blouse to add a little more fun - you just can't go wrong.  Oh, and how can you resist this mustard blouse with all the details?  Love it + it is currently on sale!  Keep Smiling, 

 

A Color-block Classic

Timeless + classic sum up this coat.  It will never go out of style and I intend to have it in my closet for years and years to come.  Needless to say, I was very surprised when I opened this baby on Christmas.  I had been eyeing it for months!!!  I'll be sure to stay warm all winter long.  Hope you had a happy and safe New Year.

Ringing in the New Year was casual: blazer, my favorite booties + Champs (aka Champagne).  

My New Year's Resolution: I will not buy new clothes for the entire month of January (I plan to re-evaluate February 1 due to likely shopping withdrawals).  Sounds good in theory: save more, spend less.  So far, so good.  Even though I may be wearing 'new' pieces in upcoming posts, they were purchased (or gifted) before 1/1/14.  What's your resolution?
