Today I'm sharing another way I styled this green cape/poncho (see first post here). When I first saw this cape online during the nordstrom anniversary sale, I debated purchasing the black option, instead of green. I took a risk, bought the green and I'm glad I did. The olive/green color goes with more than I expected, especially this time of year. I've been throwing it on over really anything - yesterday a chunky sweater, this past weekend over a long sleeve tee while out running errands. I love that it can be styled casually and dressed up, I'm thinking with some wide leg trousers... This won't be the last time you'll be seeing this baby, that's for sure.
I'm not sure if I'll have time to squeeze in another post between now and thursday, so Happy Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for this blog (my creative and stylish outlet) and of course, you - my followers! Thank you for your support! Speaking of Thanksgiving... What's everyone wearing? I'm struggling to pick something out, though I might just end up wearing this poncho to hide the food gut!

cape: Nordstrom (sold out - first shared in this post), similar here (with hood) & here (no hood) // jeans: TopShop 'Jamie' // shirt: Forever 21 (old - last seen here), similar here // purse: Nordstrom Street Level Reversible Tote // boots: Circus by Sam Edelman 'Raylan' Ankle Boots // shades: Kate Spade outlet, almost identical here
Looooooving the poncho!!! Seriously, it's so cute!!
ReplyDeleteI also think it's great you chose olive! I think it goes with more outfits and helps add some interest and contrast to other colors. It would be a great compliment with neutrals!
ReplyDeleteYour olive cape is perfect. Looks so cozy & loving that it has a hood
