Check Mate // with Femme Boutique Boston

Hello lovelies!  So I recently visited the Femme Boutique Boston's pop-up trunk show at the Nest in Amesbury, and this sweater immediately caught my eye.  It was love at first sight -- I mean who doesn't love a scalloped edge?!  The ladies behind Femme Boutique graciously gifted me the sweater -- I couldn't wait to style it.  I opted for keep it semi-summery with sandals and my favorite saddle bag.  But I know this sweater would pair fabulously layered with a chambray button down, some black jeans and tall boots.  More to come.... 

I highly recommend a visit to the Nest in Amesbury.  The town is so charming.  You can make of day of it exploring the historic cobblestone streets, discovering more quaint shopping, and stopping for a bite at one of the many great restaurants in town.

Warming up to Fall //

I hope everyone is having a great week!  I'm loving the cool evening temperatures we're experiencing up here in Boston.  Nothing says Fall quite like an oversized, loose knit sweater.  I love to throw this sweater on after a day at the beach, or in this case, golden hour beers al fresco with my friend Danielle (@asequinedlife).

Often when she and I meet up after work, we try to utilize as much remaining sunlight as possible for some blog/IG photo opps.  This time, we met up at Assembly Row in Somerville and enjoyed beers at the bright & colorful Slum Brew outdoor beergarden before the daylight escaped us, followed by dinner at Legal's.  Be sure to visit Slum Brew and try the 'Scooter' Strawberry Wheat - so good!

Geometric Print Shift Dress

And just like that the long weekend has come and gone!  Mine was fabulous, but feeling like I over indulged a bit too much!  I'll be hitting the gym pretty hard this week...
